During this time of crisis, a colleague of mine has, as with most of us, been to told to work as much from possible from home. So has her husband. Their children are now off school. This could be a nightmare waiting to happen; too many people confined in the house at once. How to manage the coronavirus couple crush?

Use the power of Cheryl!

My colleague and husband made up an imaginary workmate called Cheryl who gets the blame whenever anything goes wrong in the new “home workplace” -best of all, she can’t feel upset since she doesn’t really exist.

All those cups in the sink, the pens left in the loo, workbooks and time on skype, the mess and mistakes around the house: blame Cheryl!
